Titanium Anode For Electrolytic Functional Water is Platinum Coated Titanium Anode a kind of titanium anode for electrolytic ionized water machine acidic oxidation potential water.Ionized water industry standard for alkaline reducing water pH value of 7.5-10. ORP ≤ -250mV, pH value in the standard range of the higher the better, the lower the ORP the stronger the reduction, the better the water quality. Acidic reduction water pH value of 2.5-6.5, ORP ≥ 300mV, pH value in the standard range of the lower the better, the higher the ORP the stronger the reduction, the better the water quality. As can be seen from the table, the ionized water quality produced by the developed Pt/Ti electrode is in full compliance with the ionized water industry standards, and the performance of the ionized water quality produced by the Pt/Ti electrode is better than that of the ionized water quality produced by the titanium-based MMO electrode. ?
Platinum as an electrode material, widely used in electroplating, electrolytic synthesis, electrochemical treatment of wastewater and fuel cells and other fields, platinum electrode has a strong corrosion resistance, high catalytic activity, high oxygen precipitation potential, low hydrogen precipitation potential and other characteristics, both as anode materials with excellent performance and cathode materials with excellent performance. In addition to a few mixed acids, platinum in hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrofluoric acid, phosphoric acid and the vast majority of electrolyte solutions, have shown excellent corrosion resistance. Many important electrochemical industry fields, such as hydrogen peroxide, ammonium persulfate, electrolytic water production can be used as anode materials. However, platinum resources are scarce and expensive, especially in the industrial application of the electrode material area is very large, directly with pure platinum anode in the production is not feasible, restricting the platinum electrode in the electrochemical industry to promote the application. In order to save electrode cost and platinum resources, it is necessary to use titanium-based platinum anode instead of pure platinum anode, at present, titanium matrix platinum anode is mainly used in P-salt plating process, the main problem of this process is that the plating solution is wasted, the cost is high, and at the same time the platinum plating platinum layer is poorly bonded to the platinum metal. ?
Our company PSX has developed a coated platinum layer technology, the advantages are low cost, simple production process, and good bonding force sintered platinum electrode conductivity and strengthen the life are better than imported platinum plated titanium electrode. In the experiment, it shows that the electrolysis effect is better than ruthenium-iridium coating, and it can obtain alkaline ionized water with pH=9.5 or more, orp in -250mv or more and acidic ionized water with pH=3-4.
Working Principle:
Ionized water generator uses the principle of water electrolysis and the selective permeability of cation exchange membrane to cations, under the action of DC electric field, the positive and negative electrodes are added between the cation exchange membrane, constituting a two-compartment electrolysis tank. When the water flows through, the cathode of the electrolyzer generates hydroxide ions with high concentration and releases hydrogen gas, which makes the water weakly alkaline. Since the electrode reaction is a reduction reaction, the solution system is in a reduced state, and the oxidation reduction potential (ORP) of the alkaline ionized water obtained is negative. In the anode to generate a higher concentration of hydrogen ions, the release of oxygen, while the water contains a small amount of chlorine root, lose electrons, generating chlorine gas, so that the water is rich in hydrogen ions and a small amount of chlorine root. The electrode reaction is an oxidation reaction, and the resulting acidic ionized water is in an oxidized state with a positive oxidation reduction potential (ORP).
